What the case makes possible
A home-visit nurse arrives at a diabetic patient's home. She opens the telehealth case on the living room table. Within five minutes, the computer is on, the instruments are connected, and the doctor appears on screen.
What happens next is not a video call. It's a complete clinical examination.
The nurse places the digital stethoscope on the patient's chest — the doctor hears the heartbeat live. She connects the 12-lead ECG — the trace displays in real time. The dermatoscope zooms in on a suspicious lesion with sharper detail than a naked-eye exam.
Blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature: everything flows automatically into the patient record. The doctor directs the examination, instrument by instrument, as if they were in the room.
