2. Elara: Your Team’s New AI Copilot

Beyondjust notes, we wanted to build an assistant that helps with the rest of yourday. Meet Elara, an AI agent that understands the context of your workwithin the Medconnect platform.

Thinkof Elara as a new team member that can:

•            Find things, fast: Ask it to pull up a patient's record, manage your schedule, or finda specific document.

•            Answer complex questions: Elara can search through a patient's history and uploaded documents to surface relevant information for clinical decision support.

•            Use your knowledge: You can securely upload your own institutional guidelines or research papers, and Elara will use that private knowledge base to inform its answers.

•            Help the whole team: It can assist nurses in managing patient flow and help doctors draft documents by automatically pulling in the right context from thedatabase.

•            It’s just getting started: Elara is built to learn. We’ll be improving its capabilities continuously based on your feedback.

Building It Right, with the Right Partner

Developing these tools responsibly required a serious technical foundation. That’s why we chose to build them in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud.

This partnership was crucial. Their focus on data sovereignty and compliance was non-negotiable for us, ensuring your data is always handled securely andaccording to local law. We needed flexible AI models (like their Qwen models) that we could adapt for the specific demands of healthcare, not a one-size-fits-all solution. Finally, their scalable infrastructure meansthe platform will remain fast and reliable as we grow.
