Telemedicine equipment encompasses all the connected medical devices and physical form factors (cart, case, backpack) used to perform an assisted teleconsultation. Where a simple video consultation is limited to a video exchange between doctor and patient, telemedicine equipment adds a true clinical dimension: 12-lead ECG, digital stethoscope, dermatoscope, otoscope, portable ultrasound, vital signs monitor, pulse oximeter, bio-analyzer — instruments whose data is streamed in real time to the remote physician.
Promotal MedConnect has been designing, assembling and deploying its telemedicine equipment in France since 2015.
